My Marimo Garden

Several years ago a friend in New York introduced an interesting aquatic plant to me that has since become a hobby of mine. " Marimos " are a green seaweed made from algae but they appear mossy in texture. These fluffy green plants use photosynthesis to grow, needing minimal light but also growing very slowly. The marimos in my tank are all from different locations; New York, Russia, China, Japan, and more. In the past few months I have been doing lots of research on how to best care for these plants. I have put together a list of all the information and optimal care instructions.  I set up a simple but cool looking tank with an LED light air stone and glow in the dark aquarium plant. Multi colored stones cover the bottom of a large blue glass vase. I keep it shaded with my potted plants covering most of the sunlight. My baby marimos began to connect to each other like a chain and even to my fluval tank cleaning moss ball (which is a fake marimo). I use ice to keep it...

RockResurrectionArt.com Two Year Anniversary!

I was also able to do many things like have more control over shipping, related products and most importantly an integrated shopping cart. All my products are under one roof and not separated between Etsy, Square Up and others.  I started with guitar pick jewelry, then candy jewelry but the ideas only began to pile up. A ...

Gits Site Changes

A couple of months ago the first of a few big changes with the Gits site happened. With the scheduling of the second Gits show came a new wave of energy, and creative lines began to get redrawn. When I first heard about the Gits it was clear that Steve was doing the lions share of the work when it came to keeping the torch lit that is the Gits. While I've always known the other members of the band as supportive, the air of separation was there...and it was thick.  The Gits website started out as an official website with everything Gits all from the band. In June part of the band wanted to make them as two separate entities; an official site and a fan site. How Steve explained it in the Gits newsletter : "The interactive site for fans and merch sales and current Gits communiques can be found on the first page, click on the icon FANSITE to visit us and see videos, go in depth into the visual and audio archives and communicate with us or webmaster, Becca and other friends...
